Terms and Conditions of ToolShed Competitions

Only purchases from Ashburton, New Plymouth, Morrinsville and Taumarunui are required to fill out the competition entry form:

All other sales are entered automatically when items are sold against GoodMates cash or charge accounts.

Terms and Conditions of Social Media Competitions

  1. The promoter is The ToolShed Ltd, PO Box 5225, Frankton, Hamilton 3242

  2. Social Media includes Facebook and Instagram.

  3. All entries must enter by the competition closing date and time.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification may be requested at the sole discretion of the Promoter. If the Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

  5. By Participating in the competition, entrants provide permission to use your names, characters, photographs, videos, voices and likeness in connection with any current or future promotions and/or for marketing purposes and you waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. You will be responsible for obtaining copyright permissions (as required) for your posts. ToolShed bears no responsibility for any copyright infringement.

  6. The winners will be notified via Facebook and Instagram. ToolShed will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners but if they are unable to be contacted within 7 days of the closing date, then another winner is drawn.

  7. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or alternative prizes/products.

  8. The Judge's Decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  9. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any entries it deems as inappropriate, offensive or negative.

  10. The prize winner's Full Name and nonspecific details may be used for promotional purposes in newsletters/website material and will be posted on the relevant Facebook and Instagram page. 

  11. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and each of their immediate families (i.e. spouse, parent, child or sibling) are ineligible to enter.

  12. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook & Instagram

  13. By participating in this contest, you acknowledge full acceptance of the terms and conditions and warrant that your entry/comment does not contain any material that is libelous, defamatory, pornographic, profane or obscene.

Rules of Conduct

This page is monitored daily by The ToolShed, New Zealand. We support the discussion of free speech and engagement with others, however we reserve the right to remove anything posted to this page that we deem to be offensive, including:

  1. violent, obscene, profane, hateful, suggestive or racist posts, links or images
  2. comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation
  3. solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial organisations
  4. off-topic posts by a single user
  5. repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users

Offensive users will also be blocked from our social network pages.

The ToolShed is not responsible for the personal, political, organisational or religious beliefs of its friends, fans or followers across all social networks.
