The DeWalt XR Lithium-Ion Brushless Laminate Trimmer Router Skin Only with Plunge Base is designed to use in industrial applications. Speed of the router can be varied easily to obtain a better finish on the surface. Twin LEDs offer great visibility in dark conditions. Aluminium construction of the motor endures tough use and ensures added durability. The soft-start mechanism avoids any movement of the tool at the start thus increasing user control. Router is powered by a 18 Volt Lithium-Ion battery and works well with 1/4 Inch, 6 mm and 8 mm collets sizes. Accessory changing is done easily and quickly with the help of a spindle lock mechanism. BL51 brushless motor offers a runtime of 20 minutes and enhances the performance. Multi-slit collets increases the bit contact thus minimizing slipping and making tightening/loosening easier. Single action rocker switch prevents any sudden initiation and ensures smooth actuation. Electronic brake greatly enhances the cutting accuracy and minimizes the torque twisting when starting/stopping. Depth adjustment ring allows the user to adjust the cutting depth easily. The acrylic base prevents scratching on the surface and the transparent surface offers good operating visibility for the user. D-shaped base of the router provides good operational stability when using it for edge profiling and radius referencing. The base of the router consists of a quick-release tabs that facilitates smooth and easy changing of bits whenever necessary. Adjustable clamp deals with any wear and tear in the mechanism. Overmoulded grip on the hand minimizes fatigue on the hand and enhances user comfort.
