Description

ToolShed 40A Inverter Plasma Cutter

The ToolShed 40A Plasma cutter is a great workshop machine that also has the portability to be an onsite machine. It features a variable amperage of 20–40 Amps and will cut up to 12mm in mild steel. It will also cut aluminium, stainless steel, and a host of other metals.
This machine comes with heavy duty dinse connectors (quick change bayonet style) and standard fittings, 4 metre long PT31 plasma torch, along with extra tips and electrodes to get you started. The rated duty cycle is 60% at 40 Amps. It is fan cooled with an over temperature cut out to protect the machine from overheating. The 40 Amp high frequency touch start (where the arc literally jumps to the work piece) plasma cutter can give a nice clean cut of up to 12mm in mild steel. The ToolShed Plasma Cutter is housed in a light weight carry case weighing just 8kg. This machine also features a handy carry handle which enables it to be moved around easily. All ToolShed Inverter welding machines are manufactured with latest inverter technology, they are far more efficient, more reliable, faster, and have higher current handling capabilities than transformer and other inverter systems. It comes with everything you need except a compressor. We recommend the ToolShed TSACD1 2.5Hp with a 40L tank.
