Makita ConnectX Backpack Blower Brushless - Bare Tool

"Landscapers are demanding more cordless alternatives to gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Makita is meeting demand with an expanding collection of blowers, including the ConnectX™ Brushless Backpack Blower (UB004CZ). With zero emissions, lower noise, and considerably less maintenance than gas-powered models, this Backpack Blower is a welcome solution for landscapers. A Makita-built brushless motor delivers the power of a 64cc backpack blower.

The Backpack Blower delivers a high blowing force of 28 Newtons (Using PDC1500A01 in Boost Mode) to handle heavy debris with a maximum no-load speed of 23,800 RPM. It has a tube-mounted variable speed trigger with a max air volume of 20.9m³/min and max Air Velocity of 290kph (Using PDC1500A01 in Boost Mode), for power and run time management. There is a cruise control lever speed lock-on variable speed trigger for comfortable continuous operation.

The nozzle features a downward endpoint to reduce arm fatigue and provide powerful airflow. It telescopes to 3 stages.

The UB004CZ can deliver 55mins of runtime on Boost Mode, and 200 mins on Mode 1 with the ConnectX™ 1,500Wh Portable Backpack Power Supply (PDC1500A01).

Convenience features include a power button on the control handle that allows the user to start the Backpack Blower while wearing it. There is a tool-less control handle adjustment for user convenience. The handle features a rubberized soft grip that provides increased comfort on the job. It features an adjustable ergonomic harness with waist belt for operator comfort. For added user convenience there is an integrated carry handle for transportation and hanging storage, as well as a durable housing with base that allows the backpack blower to stand upright.

The Blower features IPX4 weather-resistant construction and exclusive Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channelling water and dust from key internal components."
