"Introducing the 40Vmax XGT® Garden Edger UE001GZ, a cordless solution engineered to deliver exceptional results akin to 30cc class petrol-powered edgers. The edger leverages a Makita-built brushless motor and 40Vmax XGT® Li-Ion battery to provide ample cutting power with a maximum no-load speed of 4,800rpm, complemented by a host of innovative features for enhanced precision, control, and user comfort. Boasting eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for high water-resistance in versatile outdoor use, the edger incorporates a new lock-off mechanism with a lock lever for improved work efficiency, while the guard offers greater visibility of the blade tip. Cutting depth can be easily adjusted by modifying the tire height, and a dedicated guard plate protects the gear case during maximum depth operations. Ergonomically designed with a comfortable loop handle, the edger also offers variable speed control, constant speed under load, active feedback sensing technology (AFT), soft start, and electric braking - equipping professionals with the tools needed to tackle even the most demanding edging tasks with uncompromising results.UE001GZ features XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), a system of features that provides enhanced water and dust resistance, enabling operation in harsh jobsite environments."
