    Ok but not great

Received my saw with damaged box and the motor rambling loose amongst the other parts. The coating is damaged in several areas. Assembly was an interesting affair with an additional bracket that is nowhere shown on the instructions, with no bolts to fix it anywhere and looking to be out of place. There's a lot of little hex bolts of 3 different sizes that all needs removing and reinstallation after cleaning - wing nuts or quarter turn locks would have made a world of difference. The bottom blade guide is a pig of a thing to adjust to the 0.004 tolerance, a bit of a laugh really. I used newspaper tucked into corners where I thought cuttings would be accumulated and this helped with reducing cleanup. Cleaning though is a pain still, but I wrapped the electrical components in plastic and blasted everything out, followed with soapy water and another blast. The blade is not great. It cut up the first sheep fine but dulled very quickly on the second. It is also a very coarse blade leading to small bone chips everywhere. A pity that on a new machine you immediately have to get a different blade, this should just be included. Definitely not a thousand dollar machine, but worth it for the odd jobs and small home kill functions. Just makes sure you do a pile of it at the same time. 3 stars due to poor condition I've recieved it in, practical machine but not great.

    Meat cutting saw

Instructions for this saw are terrible. Go online and find somewhat better ones in PDF format.
The meat cutting process - used it to cut up a semi- frozen sheep carcass, mostly it will be used for deer. Cut brilliantly and easily. Felt like it was well worth the money.
But be warned - there is not one square inch of this machine where meat shavings won't go.
I realise I won't be cranking this saw up for any small job because the 2 hours it takes to clean properly afterwards. But mores the point - meat also got into the box section that runs up to the guard and you can't actually get into that to clean it out.
    Clean up is a mission.
Needs to be a more closed system to enable hose down maybe.
    Haven't used the mincer yet.
4 stars, but I'd be inclined to give 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Good bandsaw does what it says.

Used the saw for the first time two days ago and I am very satisfied with it.
The instructions are poor, thankfully you only need to assemble the stand and attach motor. Took me a good hour to review the screws and others parts and look at the exploded diagram to get it sorted.

Have only used the saw but am yet to try the mincer attachment so because of that and the sub par instructions I have rated a 4 star.

I have cut frozen lamb loins, shoulders and a frozen bag of liver and hearts which the saw eased through them like a hot knife through butter.

If you are a lifestyle blocker or hunter this is perfect.

The only other thing to note is you need to remove 12 Allen key screws and the belt to remove blade to clean. I used a hose and bucket of soapy hot water to clean.
