ToolShed Bench Top Planer / Thicknesser

This all-in-one planer and thicknesser offers two great tools without taking up lots of space and is a must have for any wood worker or home workshop. The planer is located on the top table and is capable of planing from 0mm - 3mm. It features an adjustable blade guard which can be raised, lowered, or slid in and out to keep your workpiece running straight. The thicknesser is located below and can handle workpieces with a thickness ranging from 5mm - 120mm. It features a table that can be raised and lowered along with a gauge that lets you see the thickness of your material after each pass through. This machine comes with a dust extraction port that also works as a safety switch - the location of it changes depending on whether you are using the planer or thicknesser and the machine will not run without it installed. An emergency stop button is fitted for added safety while you work.

Please Note: This model does not include a dust extractor, it is strongly recommended due to the volume of dust produced from woodworking machines, to use a method of dust extraction. This model does feature a 100mm dust extraction port which is perfect for use with a ToolShed Dust Extractor (sold separately).
